Learning Experience Consulting Manager

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
This dynamic consulting role requires expertise in high-quality learning design, client relationship management, and a builder of high-performing teams. You will seamlessly transition from delivery of work, to coaching teammates, to fostering deep client relationships. You will confidently and empathetically lead conversations with clients and drive action to clarity. You will also assist in Account Planning with our broader sales team, surfacing opportunities for growth within the stakeholder relationship(s) you manage.  

As a Learning Experience Consulting Manager, you will utilize relationship-based consulting approaches to understand client culture and needs—to drive satisfaction with the work Oxygen delivers and surface opportunities for growth. You will contribute to the design and delivery of experiential learning design as outlined by your clients’ goals and desired outcomes. You will be responsible for coaching a team of designers to ensure high-quality deliverables, continuous skill development, and client satisfaction via their interactions.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY LOOKS LIKE:

  • Know your clients. Understand the goals of your clients' organizations and recognize your clients' individual roles in achieving those goals
  • Build strong relationships. In partnership with your sales counterparts, create trusted relationships with senior-level stakeholders to drive account growth
  • Manage a team of Experience Designers—coaching, encouraging, and collaborating to ensure high-quality work across the client stakeholders to which you align
  • Deliver feedback. Help your teammates grow by delivering timely and direct feedback that is actionable, positive, and constructive, even when it's tough
  • Inspire your teams (to be better). Lead with creativity and passion. Be the type of leader who energizes your team on a regular basis

YOU’LL LOVE WORKING WITHUS IF YOU HAVE:

  • 4-year degree or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years of experience working with clients collaboratively and leading projects successfully to closure or growth
  • Worked in management consulting, sales enablement, learning, or creative agency environment
  • Experience working with Microsoft (either as an employee or via a vendor/agency relationship) is a plus, but not required
  • Learning design experience in multiple modalities, including eLearning, ILT, and VILT for various group sizes
  • Proven track record of being both strategic and detail-focused
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous work environment
  • Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills
  • Strong EQ. You ask good questions and know when it is appropriate to chime in during client meetings or ask a peer after the meeting
  • Proficiency in content authoring tools such as Articulate RISE / Storyline 360, AdobeCaptivate

DETAILS:
Full-time. Ability to work with clients in various Global time zones. Possible travel to Seattle corporate HQ for meetings. In addition to providing your resume/CV in your application, please include a link to your online portfolio or upload work samples.

Oxygen Experience will offer the successful candidate a competitive base compensation and benefits package.The targeted range for this role is $150,000 to $160,000. Benefit offerings include 100% paid for medical, dental, and vision coverage and generous coverage for dependents. Oxygen Experience also offers a 401(k) retirement savings plan, Flexible Spending Account, and a generous paid time off(vacation, sick, holidays) program.
